American culture is a culture of such comfort. Its people are constantly encouraged to champion for individual freedoms and rights, which often lead to conflicting viewpoints and ideologies. Such a wide-range of opinions and perspectives often results in polarization and conflict. Social media and online platforms don’t help this culture of discord, as the avenues it offers for quick dissemination of differing opinions, can sometimes escalate into heated debates and conflicts. Yet, the many biblical tenets which echo understanding, empathy, and respectful communication can help mitigate this culture of the uncomfortable.

We invite you to join us in this seven-week message series, called “Uncomfortable.” We will explore how the Christian faith can be very uncomfortable at times. Throughout this message series, we will seek to help people embrace, understand, and see the beauty and hope in what makes you feel “Uncomfortable.”

During this message series, we will explore the following passages:

Matthew 16:24-28; Joshua 1:1-9; Hebrews 5:12-14; John 8:31-36;
